What is a successful removal? Some moving companies may consider a removal successful if nearly everything arrives free from damage, if the customer is pretty happy and if the move was completed more or less on time. At LondonRemovals.org.uk, however, we would not consider this a successful removal, and since we always strive for successful removals, it is important that our customers understand our standards. First, our removals are always completed on time. Your moving crew will show up when scheduled, work efficiently and get you and your belongings situated in your new place as soon as possible. Next, we strive to ensure that every single item packed and loaded onto our moving vehicles arrives safely and scratch-free to the final destination. And finally, we don’t want our customers to be pretty happy with the end result. We want them to be 100% totally satisfied with each and every removal service North London that we offer. These goals are what dictate our company’s day-to-day operations and it shows. Just ask any of our very satisfied former customers or see for yourself by calling us on 020 8746 4339. You can get a free estimate right over the phone, right now, so you can begin planning your removal and your budget. And don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have about your move. We’re always available!

There are technically two definitions of North London. According to the Boundary Commission, North London is all of the capital city that lies north of the River Thames. This east-west dividing line essentially splits Greater London in two, although the northern part ends up being the slightly larger half using this definition. North London, in this sense, makes up almost two thirds of England’s capital. The City of London falls within North London, according to the Boundary Commission, which means that most of the tourist attractions in the city centre and the historic sights that make London so famous are located there. There are a large number of London boroughs included in the North London area, such as, Brent, Barking and Dagenham, Barnet, Camden, Ealing, Enfield, Haringey, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hackney, Hillingdon, Harrow, Islington, Havering, Kensington and Chelsea, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Westminster and Waltham Forest. That’s a lot of London boroughs combined into one geographic region!

To clear things up a bit, the region is divided into Inner London Boroughs and Outer London Boroughs. The Inner London Boroughs are Islington, Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Hackney, Camden, Tower Hamlets and Westminster. All the rest of the boroughs listed above as being part of North London fall under the designation of Outer London Boroughs. Outer London and Inner London were designated back in 1965, but still hold today.

North London has another definition, however. The name also refers to the North London sub region of the London Plan. This sub region has been in existence since they were first designated in 2004, although its boundaries have changed somewhat. When it was first drawn up, North London consisted of Barnet, Haringey, Enfield, and Waltham Forest. But in 2008, the London sub regions were re-drawn and renamed. North London held onto its name, but its boundaries expanded to include Hackney, Camden and Islington as well as the original four boroughs. Today, the North London sub region is made up of these seven boroughs and is home to just over one million people. North London, the sub region, also includes the postcode areas number from N1 through N21 and is a divers mix of budget, affordable and even expensive housing areas. The N11 and N13 postcode areas are the cheapest places to find a home, while Edmonton, Whetstone and Tottenham are a little bit pricier – only slightly so, however. Once you move into Finchley, Highgate, Stoke Newington, Holloway and Southgate, prices are more midline. The most expensive and quite fashionable areas of North London include Muswell Hill, Islington, Finsbury Park, Crouch End and Totteridge. Although these neighbourhoods and areas are on the expensive end for North London, they are not London’s priciest areas, so one still may be able to find some affordable living quarters in the trendy areas.

North London, according to the Boundary Commission, includes the City of London, which is where most of this great city’s tourist attractions and historical buildings are located. When one thinks of London and tourism, places like The Tower come to mind. But the North London sub region is also home to a number of great sites, despite the fact that it is much smaller than the larger Boundary Commision region. Living in North London, one can take advantage of all the possibilities for entertainment, including theatre, dining, shopping, music venues, sporting teams, museums and parks and green spaces, too. You will never be at a loss for what to do when you have restless kids or out-of-town guests visiting, as you will find something for everyone in North London.

But before you can really start exploring and enjoying your new neighbourhood, you have to make sure that all your belongings get there safely and that you have tied up all the loose ends associated with vacating one home and entering another.
